Welcome to the Neighborhood!
We are excited to have you and wanted to provide some helpful information to get to know your neighbors and stay informed on neighborhood events.

Neighborhood Directory
The first step to stay informed is to add you to the neighborhood directory so you may receive important email communications. We try to limit emails to only important communications (e.g. pool registration, crime, neighborhood events, etc.) so don’t be worried about receiving spam! Please send any information you’d like to add to our directory (family names, email addresses, phone numbers, home address, etc.) to board@fairmeadowsneighborhood.com.

Neighborhood Clubs and Groups
Fairmeadows Neighborhood Association (FNA)
The FNA is a small group of members focused on planning neighborhood events and capital improvements. The FNA currently consists of nine board members who meet every six weeks to plan upcoming events and projects with the funding received from the neighborhood association fee. Read the “Neighborhood Association” section below to see examples of past projects and events. Feel free to email the FNA at board@fairmeadowsneighborhood.com for interest in joining or potential capital improvement projects you’d like to see in the neighborhood.

Fairmeadows Swim and Racquet Club

You’ll find the club tucked away at 2810 Eastburn Rd. Membership at Fairmeadows requires a nominal joining fee and includes use of both the pools and tennis courts. The club has an active swim team and many involved individuals who make each season even more enjoyable than the one before. The Club renovated the pool, pool deck and kiddie pool to brand new condition in  2015! The Club is a nonprofit organization overseen by a board of directors. We invite you to visit the new Fairmeadows pool and find out why Fairmeadows’ members think its Charlotte’s best-kept secret! Check out the website at FairmeadowsSwim.com or email for a tour fairmeadowsswim@gmail.com.

Garden Club
The Beaux Prés Garden Club was established in 1959 by the ladies of the neighborhood. The Club began as a way to share gardening techniques. Currently, the agenda is a program, neighbor news and time to visit with your neighbors. The meetings are from September thru May usually on the third Tuesday of the month. Each meeting takes place at a different member’s home in the neighborhood. Email joycejohnson3@me.com to find out more about the club and meeting schedule.

Fairmeadows History

Neighborhood Association
Fairmeadows has an optional $75 annual neighborhood association fee. This fee is used to pay for common area landscape maintenance, front entrance sign lighting, and capital improvement projects (e.g. we recently added the secondary entrance sign on Anchor St. to improve the look of our neighborhood). In addition, we like to throw neighborhood celebrations! Last year we threw the first neighborhood Halloween and Spring parties with over 50 neighbors in attendance at each. We encourage everyone to pay this nominal fee so we can keep the neighborhood looking good and provide as many events as we can to celebrate with one another.

Dues payments can be delivered to any board member (listed to the left).  During the annual Fall membership drive, signs posted on board members' front lawns will identify dues drop-off locations.  Checks can be made payable to “Fairmeadows Neighborhood Association.

Alternatively, you may pay your annual dues through our PayPal account by clicking below:
